This is 2nd album from Primal Fear, its also strong and heavy.. and speedy :).!
Its starts with intro Jaws of Death where siren screams about warning of attack, the intro leads to Final Embrace that is great song, fast tempo, strong and powerfull. I just love the starting riff! And guitarsolo part is fast and powerful.. 'Ripper' Owens what? The Ripper nick should belong for Scheepers! ;).
Save a Prayer continues being as heavy as last one with very groovy starting riff, another fast-tempo song. I like the way PF uses guitars, they uses 'screaming' sound alot.
Church of Blood is bit slower and even heavier song than first 2! Heavy riffing guitars sounds great, and slowdown 'talking' part fits perfectly to the song, witch great guitarsolo follows.
Into the Future is bit slower than 3 first songs, i count it a bit weaker too still being good.
Under Your Spell is mid-tempo song beginning as melodic with keyboards, continuing heavy. Propably most melodic song on this cd.. and oh god what guitarsolo part! :))
Faster tempo Play to Kill begins with fast main riff, very rocking one! Scheepers does some real killer screams at the end.
Nation in Fear is another more melodic one at my opinion, with groovy main riff. Slower than Play to Kill still being fast tempoed. Sperling does few nice drum attacks!
When the Night Comes has melodic start as Under Your Spell. Its mid-tempo song, very rocking one, main riff is sooo groovy :). Pounding bass fits perfectly and you can hear it very well in this kinda slower song.
Fight to Survive is very fast one again where Scheepers sings high. Its about surviving in novadays world where bussiness and money rules.
Hatred in My Soul is heavy riffing bit slower song with pounding drums. It has great screaming heavy guitarsolo part, solid PF song.
Album ender is Rainbow cover song Kill The King, its played well and groovy with featuring Scheepers killer screams, however i count it has weaker songs on this album, but i dont mean its bad, its pretty good.
12 songs lenghty album features raw power, melodic tracks with many great riffs and powerful vocals. It has no 'weak' songs, worst is still pretty good :). Highly recommended album for powermetallers and other metal-style listeners.. worth of checking out!
