On Thorns I lay- ANGELDUST

extremely melodic goth metal- hailing from Greece- a band that seems to get cheesy and invent the concept of gothic cheese metal. Melodic is ok , but if you want to have something GOOD you'll probably need some more, and they don't have it.A frivolous album- that wants to achieve more than they can, and the lack of a solid concept behind it makes it a bit boring, although it does not sound bad, but an album needs more than flowing guitars . I have to admit I was expecting something better from this band, but I appear to have been mistaking. Orama was a good album and I haveenjoyed The Sins of Thy beloved, but Angeldust is just whatever a good album should not be A female vocalist , although trendy, is not a guarantee for success, and all the bands thinking like this are condemned to immediate oblivion, unless they change this aberant direction
