THERE ARE GOOD THINBS COMING FROM CALIFORNIA AFTER ALL!!!!!!!!
This was my first thought after hearing the self titled album of this california band.
I have to admit that , like most of people, I was quite convinced that an american new band would HAVE to be NU Metal...and thank God I was wrong...at least partially
What can I tell you about this album?
It reminds me of the Anthrax, the album " Persistence of Time"to be more precise, and I say that in the best possible way.
But under no circumstances I mean that they are copying Anthrax. These guys have a mind of their own and a style of their own, and i have to say that i haven't heard anything this good in a while...
What are they playing??
Now that is a good question :-))
It would be safe to say that they are playing an interesting type of hardcore with some serious heavy metal influences, and although some NU metal are present, it sound good.
Some people have classified it as NU Metal,but I cannot agree...
That DOES sound like hardcore to me, and that's all there is to it.
All in all an interesting album, with nice guitar solos,very mellodic intro, quite interesting voice...
It will be nice to see them in the future, and I can see a good one for them.
The album is ANYTHING but boring, and has a couple of surprises for those who are quick to judge
a clear 8.5 out of 10, and look out for these guys, they are MOVING!!!!!!!!!!!
