dark Tranquility- Damage Done

one of the most expected releases of the year, Damage Done did not prove to be the disappointment the skeptical minds as myself expected.Actually, they just keep staying up there on the top of the heap of the Gotheborg bands that every once in a while transform Sweden in a veri invasive nation:-)Their usual melodic deth metal with a touch of the black, DT deliver the goods in their usual manner, although some people would have to moan about it being a bit too predictableit is in fact a bit of a natural evolution, and while I am not really a fabn of the band, it has to be said that DD is a quite good release - the multiple time changing and neat and tidy song writing being a strong point of the album.A lot more guitar oriented than teh previous ones- see Haven- this album, while not exactly reeking of originality is sure professional enough to make you go pass that I won't go praising this album as I still think that a band should have a bit or variation between albums instead of just improving the same recepy, but ok, I will say it it's a decent album, made professionally and a good acquisition for a fan of the genre stillll.... 6/10
