Divercia- Modus Operandi

good finnish metal, that even manages to be quite original in places- imagine Dimmu Borgir meeting NIghtwish- but better!Coming from Finland- it has to be gothic, but this one makes some sense- unlike a lot of finnish bands- so it's definitely worth of a listen or ten. the Jyri Aarniva fellow that does the singing is anything but bad, and looking into the future, I'd have to say that we'll be hearing some good things from this chap. Good guitar and drumming works, with very well managed atmospheric passages by their master keyboarder one Jarno Hanninen who plays the keys like a devil. The most noticeable thing about this band is that their music is very pleasant- but it can get heavy and fast- see the very good To Forgive, which is probably the best song on the album, which by no means doesn't mean the rest are bad. It's just that To Forgive is more than very good- simply a song to listen and listen again, and you won't get disappointed.by the rest of the album either.
