russian symphonic black metal that deserves a full album. Stigmata is in my opinion just a sign of good things to come- very well done and having the common sense to play in English. A band with originality, accustic instruments, good voices, great keyboards passage- making a total that is definitely better than most of the first re3leases that I have heard this year.
It was indeed the time for Russia to come out with something very good, and this is probably it.
An album that covers a large are of this rather new genre, from the majestous keyboard reminding me of the mid-nineties Dimmu Borgir to pure death metal growls, the result deserves a second listening and more, with the mention that this is anything but boring.
Although sometimes resemblin Rhapsody at times, this is a band with originality crawling from every note, and the 2 instrumental tracks The Mystery and Burning Sunset are highly mellodic and in some way romanric and depressing the metal way.
The whole album is a highly explosive combination of great riffing, storng growls, amazing keyboards and VERY good drumming, and the result is worthy of everyone's attention- look out for these guys!!
