Manowar
The kings of metal returned!!

After 5 years of silence, the self proclaimed Kings of Metal are back into the spotlight with their newest output,"Warriors of the world" from Nuclear Blast.A single from the album, also entitled"Warriors of the World" has already been released and it charted at position 15 in the German Single charts

What can be said about Manowar at year 2002??

First, that they are more bombastic than ever, but that is who they are...

the new album is...oh well, it's Manowar... you want bombastic- there you have it!!
You want opera metal- you have it!!

No Manowar fan will be disappointed by this album which certainly is better than "Louder than Hell"

Although one clear eye could not help itself from noticing that the Kings are starting to get old, that the album has been severely delayed and that eric adams's voice is not quite what it used to be, the result is by far a good one and you can be sure that the serious efforts spent by Nuclear Blast in promoting this album will get results....
Warriors of the world is sure to feed the large "army of Immortals" as Manowar call their fans with everything that this band means for any power and epic metal fan. Not only the opera oriented songs with majestic chosuses, but now we actually get the opportunity to actually hear Manowar playing opera, as they decided to include a passage from the well known "Nessun dorma" on their new album.

Great way of coming back into the spotlight or lack of immagination? the future will prove it as Manowar are scheduled to attend and front almost all possible metal festivals known to mankind this summer:-)) The question that raises amongst all the band's followers is if they are still able to perform at the level that established them as "the loudest band ever2 and gauined them not only a place in the Guiness Book but also in the hearts of their fans. fact is that this year will also see another Manowar premiere and that is the first american tour of the band. Together with Immortal and not only, Manowar decided to face their own music and go against the land of new metal with the weapons that made Europe and Japan crown them as "kings of metal"...

MANOWAR –Warriors of the World

After a couple of years,Manowar, made public their new album,Warriors of the world. This new album, features another classical in manowar themathic,War,and Medieval.Im not a very much fan of them, but after hearing a few of their most classic albums, like “Kings of Metal” or “Battle Hymns”,i’m a little deceived with this new album. Its not that it isnt good, its not that, its just......its too much slow and it dont have a lot of songs to be proud of.Only the 4 last songs have the true “Manowar Stamp”,they are Fast,Power, and nice to listen,The other ones.....well...”Nessun Dorma”its nice to hear, and makes you view a new way of playing in Manowar.Or you have a Nice Starting, with “Call to Arms”a classic lineup starting in Manowar, but the others.....are Normal and not impressive. If you wanna Manowar Classic Stuff, hear “Fight Until we Die” or “House of Death”. Resuming,if you are a superfan of them, buy it,but if you searched....changes....better seek in other shelf.
