whatever this is- it sure is metal and it sure is good, although I don"t have the guts to actually try to fit OSH in any category.Immagine a very big desert. From one side comes progressive metal.from other side comes pure death metal. From the west comes some heavy metal and from the south some jazz. They all meet at a crossroad and crossroad is called OSH.
The album begins with a percution part that sounds lke a popular instrument used in Romanian monasteries called"toaca"" and continues with death metal riffs, a screaming voice, rhythm breaks, gallops, jazzy breakdowns and then some- whatever this is , it's good and it's metal like I never heard before!
A great wave of energy is what this album is mainly about, and if this is a sign of what the metal of teh third millenium is gonna be, I am happy to say that these are great news!
What else can I say?
I can probably try making a good old fashioned review- but I won't
This album has to be listened- otherwise is like trying to explain colours to a blind man.
