if there is such thing as progressive gothic, these guys have achieved it- and listening to this new type of music is not one of the worse things that happened to me.
New Age revolution is WONDERFUL. as in -oneof the best songs I ever heard, that guy can scream or what?
and the rest of the band complies to it- it's metal and it's strong, power metal King Diamond- wonderful thing to hear, especially when it comes from America.
Dead Zone is just going into pure power metal- ain't that fun- a little resemblance to hair bands , but stronger., and it goes like this for the whole album.
Wes waddell can scream like the best of them and I can foresee- what would I do without my prophecy gift?- that he'll be one day considered one of the best voices coming from America- after all, America created NU metal, they have the duty to destroy it.
Back to Seasons of the wolf...great keyboards- nicely mixed with ripping guitars and the result will melt your heart even if you are an old bittered power metal heart that lives in the 80's like myself.
