Tad Morose- matters of real metal

Matters of the dark-2002
Now this is something to make one's ears bleed and ask for more.A power metal album like it's supposed to be, with the choruses and fast riffs that are the Tad Morose trademark for a while now.The symphonic sound is even stronger on this album, and the result is probably as good as it can get out of Sweden nowadays. It makes my heart warm to see that power metal ius not only alive and kicking, but also puting up a serious fight against some commercial tendences that managed to infiltrate everywhere. A clearcut production for a brilliant album, and there is nothing more that can be asked From the accute and flowing guitar solos to the perfect rythms, strong drumming, and mainly the powerful and armonised vocals, there is really no weak point to an album that keeps it clean and mean. Combinig the strenght of power metal with the deep of progressive metal, the album is so complete that it actually needs several listenings in order to get the full effect it will hit you in the face and ooze your soul, with deep and meaningful lyrics, strong guitars, atmospheric intros and interesting vocal duel as close of perfection as it can get- 9.75/10
