Im a metalhead from Finland (although i don't have a long hair :)). I thought to participate for this page since i got invitation from Simona and i had bunch of album-reviews on my old webpage. Even though theres many small review pages online they are hard to find and unknown. United we'r stronger ;). I started out with bands like Metallica and Iron Maiden. Thank god internet existed. Like 5 or more years ago I happened to surf some great metalsource of all kinds of bands (like 300!) and soundsamples of them. That way i found my favourite bands fast. Everyone always talked that the Iron Maiden and Metallica were "the" hot metal stuff and i soon noticed there were bunch of bands having much more energy than those (for my taste anyway)! My favourite bands are:
Running Wild (my first great discovery, it still rips!), Rage, Grave Digger, UDO ("old man" still rocks:)), Halford&Judas Priest and many more...
I also had about +100 original cd's collection but i've sold about 20-30 at least away (Hammerfall, Powergod etc. doesn't really catch my interest)...
