Primal Fear parts ways with Klaus Sperling

Due to musical differences Primal Fear and Klaus Sperling decided to part ways in the future. Primal Fear and Klaus Sperling are very sorry about this step, especially with regard to their true fans that surely would have wanted to keep the band as the winning team as they were! But there are internal decisions sometimes that an outer person will find hard to understand where band members just can´t cope with an active state. Especially in music, where it comes to a creative process like composing and forming an unique vision together, inner tensions may grow and become a disturbing part of the art and make it unable to continue. At this point it is the better way to follow separate visions. Primal Fear and Klaus are parting ways in friendship and mutual understanding. We wish Klaus the best of luck and success for his upcoming musical plans and future! The new drummer of the Metal Commando is Annihilator drummer Randy Black. We will start the recordings for our new album in late September, tentatively titled “Primal Fear – In Metal”, at the House Of Music studios. The songwriting is completed and we promise to keep our faith in metal and we will work hard to deliver the best album of our career. The new album will be released worldwide by Nuclear Blast and JVC (Asia/Japan) on Feb 23rd 2004 – the “In Metal” worldtour starts on March 3rd in Europe with special guests “Brainstorm” Your Metal Commando Ralf, Stefan, Tom & Mat 1.. MESHUGGAH - cancel summerbreeze gig
Sadly, MESHUGGAH have to cancel their gig at the Summer Breeze Festival! Drummer Tomas still has problems with tendonitis and needs to fully rehabilitate from this, because doing the show would definitely put further strain on him, because it would also mean intense rehearsals. The band is very sorry about this, especially as it would have been the first show in Germany for them in years. THE KOVENANT - some news! The Kovenant are now working on their next studio album. The working title/possible title is "The Dreaming Spires".There will be a more guitars and it will sound more "evil". "RadiationKing" is one song title. Have a great time here at www.tidfall.net (August 2003 - 700 DARKANE - cancel summerbreeze gig We are very sorry that we are not going to play Summer Breeze this year, and we want to give you an explanation why. We were booked a year ago and thought that we would be playing during the weekend so we accepted to play though we would only get 2/3 of the travelling costs paid. But then we got the news about two weeks ago that we had to play Thursday at 16:00. This meant that we would have to take 3 days off from our work without payment (yes, Darkane isn’t big enough to quit our regular jobs) and we could not afford it. We would have to go to Germany on Wednesday morning and go back home on Friday (because of flight schedules) and after our tours we have no vacation left to take out from our works. It’s a lot for all five of us to loose three days of salary each. So we asked Summer Breeze to put us later on the bill and we were offered that there would be a possibility to play at 12:50 on Saturday for 25 minutes and we accepted it. It would be a short set, but at least we would play. This would have been ok since we would only have to take Friday off work, and we were willing to do it even if it meant loosing money for us. We really wanted to play the festival and we’ve heard a lot of good words about it from other bands. But a few days ago we got the news from Summer Breeze that we could not play Saturday, and that made it impossible for us to play the festival at all. So again we’re sorry, but it doesn’t make any sense for us to loose a lot of our personal income to play the festival. Nobody should have to pay to play! We don’t blame the festival, but this is the way it is. We hope all you metal fans will have a great festival, and that Darkane will be able to play near you on another occasion.
