For many years, Rock in all its categories, has been of great influence in this small Caribbean Island, bands like “Puya” and NonPoint which have gone international and local bands like: After Omega, “Rabia”, Saviriko, “Sacrilejio”, “Valhalla” and “Kapaprieto” are some of the bands that have worked to keep Rock alive. Places like The Zone, “Café Del Angel” are just some of the places that have given us the support needed to play our music. It’s great to say that even though we haven’t received the support from the media and the publicity needed, we have been able to outstand in and out of our Island.
The metal scene is huge, places that support our bands have had as much as 400 persons in one night, and these are the people that will make our small island go down on the map, the metal map. To give you an idea, we have a place to go every weekend, if it isn’t a party it’s a mini-concert, and this happens all around the island, most of all in the metropolitan area. In this scene you’ll find all kind of rock music like metal, trash, progressive, hard core, punk and more.
There’s a place and a band for all likings all you have to do is rock.
